PAGE/PS is the software solution that we have developed in conjunction with PromoServe over the last 4 years. The software should maximise your efficiency in the office. Our aim is to provide the best system in the industry. We help and guide members through analysing, evaluating the software. We also help with installion, updates and provide training.
We regard the process of switching to a new software system as a learning curve. The more you learn the easier and quicker it becomes, however we also appreciate that time is an expensive commodity and installing a new system can’t be at the expense of turnover.
In basic terms, the system holds all your customer and supplier information and is capable of producing a quote, from that an acknowledgement complete with purchase orders and then an invoice. We try to encourage our members to use other features that the system offers like the CRM feature which will produce a job bag into which all the documents can be stored (electronically). Management reports can also be produced offering an infinite list of reporting options
As with every group there is a wide variety of computer knowledge / naivety. The PAGE Software comes with a complete and comprehensive help system (Just press F1). If all else fails you can always call us. We are the only group to offer an over the phone help facility, we take advantage of the latest gotomeeting.com software. This allows us to help you online by either carrying out work on your system while you watch or alternatively guide you whilst you carry out the work. In our experience the majority of our members prefer to speak to a friendly voice who knows our industry compared with the standard computer company support service.
We also offer training either on-site or alternatively in our purpose built classroom. We have found that promises of what a computer system is capable of are irrelevant if the user doesn’t have the knowledge. In order to help with the costs of training we heavily subsidise all of our training courses.
Our aim is to initially install a system that you are happy with and to build on that. The advantage of our system is that we are able to guide you through the complete learning cycle over a period of time, rather than a crash course that is forgotten before it’s over!
The system is capable of running your business whether you want it to is another issue!
The system is designed to be user friendly. The information can be modified by you to suit yourself. In addition extra features can be purchased direct from PromoServe at a substantially reduced price to their standard tariff.
Data can be imported or exported as a CSV or XML file.
The PAGE software is upgraded on a regular basis via our support website. In addition the support website will have available the latest data update, where you can update the information on your system automatically rather than manually.
